Regalos de San Valentín tan naturales

I love Valentine's Day. I don't think anyone who knows me will be surprised to read this, nor that my favorite color is pink, nor that I love hearts.

It might be cheesy, or a made-up holiday, but I don't care. Celebrating love, friendship, and the beautiful things in life seems incredibly important to me, now and always. And dedicating a special day to it seems like a lot of fun, too.

To celebrate this day, you certainly don't have to buy anything. A thoughtful gesture can mean much more than perfume or even jewelry. Let me tell you what I'm going to give my loved ones for Valentine's Day.

A special breakfast: Let's start the day with homemade pancakes - I'm going to add chocolate chips like these from Salud Viva to the batter - and my children's favorite fruit, raspberries.

A note of support: My husband started a new job a few weeks ago. He's been working a lot of hours, and I want him to know that we appreciate his work and miss him.

A plant for my best friend: It just so happens that my best friend's birthday is February 14th. This is a special birthday and I won't be able to celebrate with her, so I've sent her a succulent arrangement that I hope will remind her of our almost 30 years of friendship.

Red lips all day because I love it: I like wearing lipstick, but the truth is, between the kids and the general chaos of life, I always forget to put it on. On Valentine's Day, I treat myself to wearing my favorite red lipstick.

If you're looking to buy something special yet useful, I've put together a collection of some of my favorite and perhaps more unique products, which you can see here. You can give them as gifts, or why not treat yourself to them?

Are you going to celebrate this day? I'd love to know how.
