Although I prefer a simpler look, I must confess that I like to wear makeup from time to time, especially for special occasions. Until recently, there weren't many natural cosmetics brands that offered a selection of makeup, but we're finding more and more.
These evening or party makeup techniques are brought to us by Paula Gamo using products from BOHO Green Make-Up, a brand we really like.
Nude skin and striking lips
Working on the base is the most important thing in this look, starting with clean and moisturized skin and exfoliating the lips so that when applying lipstick, no imperfections are visible.
We will need cream concealer color 01 which we will use as a highlighter, another color that best blends with your skin tone to correct dark circles, a fluid foundation or a compact cream foundation if your skin is very dry.
We'll finish by setting your foundation with a pressed powder in your skin tone to seal it and prevent creasing or unwanted shine. Our goal is a radiant, natural-looking complexion.
For the eyes, we will choose neutral-toned shadows, for example 101 or 102, and combine them with 119 or 205, depending on whether we prefer cool or warmer tones.
One coat of volumizing mascara and our eyes will be ready.
In this look , the focus is on the lips, which we'll outline with lip pencil 01 and then fill in with red lipstick 105 using a lip brush. Using a brush allows us to achieve a professional finish and ensures greater durability.
Finally, we will apply a little blush 01 or 06, making sure to load only a small amount of product onto the brush so as not to over-intensify the cheeks; we are only looking for balance in the overall look and not to detract from the lips.
Metallic eyes
Another beautiful trend to wear at night is metallic eyeshadow, especially suitable for clean lines such as eyeliner strokes on the upper eyelid and in a single color, or as the main focus of a smoky eye.
The most suitable shades for this look are 213, 219, 221, although the new jumbo pencil in copper tone is also ideal, allowing for a very defined line, although it can also be blended like an eyeshadow.
To achieve this look , we will work on the base the same as in the previous look and make sure to finish the eye makeup with 2 coats of volumizing mascara and a blush with some shimmer like 06 or a touch of terracotta from 01 or 05 to highlight the upper cheekbones.
We'll finish with a neutral lipstick like 304, 311 or 109.
