Ingredients
4 cups of frozen mixed berries
Zest of 1/2 lemon
1 tablespoon of arrowroot
2 tablespoons of water
Preparation
Mix the water with the arrowroot in a small bowl.
Cook the berries with the lemon zest in a saucepan over medium heat. Cover the saucepan and let it simmer for 5 minutes. Add the water and arrowroot mixture and stir well. Let it simmer over medium heat for another two minutes. Cover and turn off the heat.
Let it cool before covering and putting it in the refrigerator.
It can be stored in a sealed glass container for 5 days.
