L-Optizinc Herbolario S. Mediterránea is a food supplement based on Zinc and Vitamin B6.
This new product replaces and improves Zinc Árbol Verde, which we have discontinued.
Zinc is an antioxidant mineral necessary for the body, and is used to support the immune system, for the maintenance of normal bones, nails, hair, vision and skin, and for fertility.
In addition, zinc is necessary for:
- Acid-base balance
- Normal metabolism of vitamin A, carbohydrates, macronutrients, and fatty acids
- Cognitive function
- Normal DNA synthesis and cell division
- Maintaining normal testosterone levels
L-Optizinc Herbolario S. Mediterránea is made with a patented ingredient, a complex of zinc and L-methionine, an amino acid, which makes it more easily absorbed by the body and resistant to phytates, natural compounds present in cereals that inhibit mineral absorption. It also includes vitamin B6, which improves the absorption of L-methionine.
Why does L-Optizinc Herbolario S. Mediterránea contain 25mg of zinc per capsule, while other products on the market contain more?
The EFSA authorizes a maximum of 25 mg/day of zinc. As all our products are registered in the EU, we must comply with current legislation.
