This supplement contains a multi-enzyme complex—Digezyme—based on amylase, protease, cellulase, lactase, and lipase. These digestive enzymes are protein-based molecules that play a role in the digestive process, breaking down nutrients into smaller molecules to facilitate absorption.

Amylase: an enzyme responsible for breaking down carbohydrates into smaller units to facilitate digestion. This enzyme is derived from Aspergillus oryzae (fungal origin).
Protease: breaks down proteins into amino acids. Enzyme derived from Bacillus subtilis (bacterial origin ).
Lactase: responsible for breaking down lactose to improve digestion. Enzyme derived from Aspergillus oryzae (fungal origin).
Cellulase: breaks down cellulose fibers, helping our body absorb nutrients from fruits and vegetables. Enzyme derived from Trichoderma longibrachiatum (fungal origin).
Lipase: breaks down lipids and improves fat utilization. Enzyme derived from Rhizopus oryzae (fungal origin).
Flora 9 is a pre- and probiotic complex made with Megaflora 9 Evolution, a patented formula containing bacterial strains of lactobacillus acidophilus, bifidobacterium lactis, enterococcus faecium, lactobacillus paracasei, lactobacillus salivarius, lactococcus lactis and the digestive enzyme amylase, in addition to fructologosaccharides and inulin (prebiotics).
This probiotic complex contains 200 million bacteria per capsule.
