Esencia Verde is the natural cosmetics brand of the herbalists at Salud Mediterránea. This product line specializes in basic and simple cosmetics, with short ingredient lists, and is certified natural and/or organic. We'll tell you more about this brand.
1- How does Esencia Verde differ from other natural cosmetic brands?
We started Esencia Verde following the same motto as our herbal shops: Quality and Good Prices. There are many good products on the market, but we felt there was a lack of quality products at an affordable price. Esencia Verde products are designed for everyday use, both because of the types of products we make—bar soaps, facial cleansers, moisturizers—and because of their price, which makes them easy to include in your shopping basket.
2- Do you make cosmetics for men?
All our products are truly unisex. We don't differentiate by gender because our cosmetics are formulated to care for the skin from a health perspective, not according to a specific beauty standard. Many of our products are so simple and gentle that children and teenagers can also use them—for example, I've used the facial cleanser to clean my children's faces after they've had their faces painted at parties; it removes makeup without drying out the skin. I use it for them occasionally, while my father and I use it daily.
3- Apart from the quality of the ingredients, what makes this brand different?
At Mediterranean Health, we approach each product as if we were going to use it ourselves, because that's exactly what we do. With our cosmetics, we consider not only the quality of the ingredients and their combination, but also the fact that, by using few or no preservatives, we must use packaging that prevents air and bacteria from entering the product as much as possible. That's why our new Facial Cream comes in a pump bottle, which prevents premature oxidation from contact with air and ensures your hands never touch the product. Furthermore, whenever possible, we use amber glass bottles for better preservation.
4- What is the best-selling Esencia Verde product?
Without a doubt, the Hyaluronic Acid Serum . This serum contains hyaluronic acid in three molecular weights, allowing it to be absorbed by different layers of the skin. It also contains grape seed hydrosol and algae extract, both of which are antioxidants. It works very well and provides a noticeable plumping effect in the short and medium term. I really like to use it at night and then apply Argan Oil Green Essence . In the morning, my skin feels plump and supple. Besides its quality, its price is really good, €10. It's no wonder it sells so well.
5- What is your favorite product?
It's hard for me to choose because I like them all for different reasons. The Esencia Verde Bio Bar Soaps are very good, and I've given them to friends many times, as well as the Facial Cleansing Gel. Perhaps I'd choose the Argan Oil and the Shea Butter ; both are single-ingredient, organic, and top-quality products that aren't always easy to find outside of our local stores. Both products are multi-purpose. The Shea Butter is fantastic for hands and lips, but it can also be used to soften heels, knees, and elbows, and as a nourishing and repairing cream after sun exposure. I use the Argan Oil on my face and hair.
