Cómo tranquilizarse en tiempos de incertidumbre

In times of uncertainty, when we don't know how a global epidemic will affect our environment, it's normal to feel worried and nervous.

Stress is a natural, normal, and in many cases beneficial reaction, but also, if we let it control us, stress can disrupt our immune system.

We'll tell you some of the things you can do to prevent stress from taking over.

1- Stay informed, but don't obsess. Seek out quality information and steer clear of rumors, alarmist posts, etc. Don't let social media, WhatsApp groups, etc., consume your day.

2- Create a realistic plan for yourself and your family, if this is what calms you down, with different scenarios - this way you will feel prepared for whatever may happen.

3- Find a moment to do something that brings you peace and tranquility: a long walk, a yoga class, reading a book, watching a movie....

4. Do what you can to manage the situation—listen to health authorities, wash your hands thoroughly, and stay home if you're sick—but don't obsess over controlling the uncontrollable. Take care of yourself and your loved ones to stay as healthy as possible. Here's how we're doing it.

5- Have a cup of herbal tea, relaxing or not, but without looking at your phone.
