I love getting into bed with freshly laundered sheets. If you add a relaxing scent, getting into bed becomes a real treat.
You can buy a relaxing spray, but making it at home is super easy, and you save yourself unnecessary ingredients - you just need a spray bottle and 3 ingredients, one of them being water.
I really like the scent of lavender, traditionally used as a relaxing aroma, but we give you more options below.
Lavender Relaxing Sheet Spray
Ingredients
90 ml of water
30 ml of witch hazel hydrosol
12 drops of lavender essential oil (or whichever one you like best)
Useful
Dispense with a spray bottle. You can reuse, for example, this one from our Rose Toner - you'll fill it a little more than halfway.
Method
Mix all the ingredients in a clean glass container. Once well mixed, you can put it in the dispenser bottle—you'll need a bit of skill or a funnel for this.
We've also included this downloadable label so you can stick it on your new homemade spray paint and make it look super cute. Download the label here.
How to use the spray?
Wash your sheets as usual, hang them to dry, and before they're completely dry, lightly spray them with the relaxing lavender spray. If you use a dryer, take them out while they're still slightly damp and spray them.
When you make the bed, spray a little more on each layer - fitted sheet, top sheet, etc. - and on the pillow.
You can repeat this every day when you make the bed, or before going to sleep, keeping in mind that you should use little, as you don't want the sheets to get wet.
Lavender is relaxing and is used in many cosmetics, but if you prefer a different scent, you can use your favorite, as long as it induces relaxation and sleep, for example chamomile essential oil or mandarin essential oil .
What's your favorite scent to relax in?

Me parece una idea genial hacerme este spray. Yo me suelo echar unas gotas de mandarina o lavanda en la almohada.
