¿Qué es un jabón natural?

I hope you've already tried the Esencia Verde BIO Soaps; we are super happy with their quality and the positive reception they've received from our customers.

So much so that what started with a test of a white BIO soap bar - the original soap - has ended up being a line of soaps that already has four varieties.

The secret to the success of these soaps is simple: it is a quality soap, made with a traditional recipe, and using simple and quality ingredients.

BIO Esencia Verde soaps are made without synthetic perfumes, using simple ingredients, and have the ecological certification of the Association of Organic and Natural Cosmetics (ACENE) , an independent association, which guarantees the quality of the ingredients that make them up. According to ACENE:

"A product will be considered BIO (ACENE/BIO) when 99% of the total ingredients are of natural origin, including water or mineral products, and its formulation contains a minimum of 22% certified organic ingredients. Under no circumstances will raw materials, products, or by-products that have been tested on animals be accepted."

Furthermore, Esencia Verde BIO soaps are made using a cold process saponification of vegetable oils (in our case, coconut and olive) to protect the properties of the ingredients and the final soap. This saponification—the chemical reaction that transforms fat into soap—occurs through a physical method, by agitating the ingredients until the reaction occurs, instead of heating them to high temperatures as in the conventional method.

The result is a soap with a slightly higher pH than conventional soaps - between 9 and 10 - which maintains the properties of its ingredients.

We currently have 4 varieties of BIO Esencia Verde soap, each with different properties, beyond its color.

Organic Coconut Soap: This is the original, white soap. It's suitable for normal skin that isn't particularly dry or sensitive. It can be used as a hand and/or body soap, and also for handwashing clothes.

Organic Rosehip Soap: This is the soap we launched to care for the most delicate skin, and it's a pinkish-brown color. It's gentler than the original soap and can be used as a hand soap or in the shower. Interestingly, we get the color from adding cinnamon.

Organic Calendula Soap: This is a white soap with visible calendula flowers. It is suitable for use in the shower on sensitive skin that can benefit from its anti-inflammatory properties.

Organic Tea Tree Soap: This is our strongest soap, and its green color comes from the added chlorophyll. It retains the antiseptic properties of tea tree oil and is ideal for handwashing or use after exercise.

If you're like me and you like to try them all, you can buy a pack of BIO Soaps with all four varieties to have at home and vary them, or give them as a gift.

Which one is your favorite?
